Child Care Option During ESEC/FSE 2019

Viru hotel provides us with a free room for (smaller) children as a playroom. Professional caretakers who look after the kids can be organized via the Tallinn-based 5C Kids Club (http://www.5ckidsclub.ee).

5C Kids Club offers child care service for kids every day during the conference from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm as well as in the evening hours after 6:00 pm (at higher cost).

If personnel capacities allow, parents could also make arrangements with the 5C Kids Club to have their kids looked after on the Club’s premises in Liivalaia 5-65 (15 minutes to walk from Viru Confernce Centre or 5 minutes by tram or taxi). On the AC Kids Club’s premises age appropriate activities, toys, crafts, etc. will be offered and healthy snacks and drinks provided.

• 10 € per hour and child (9:00 am – 6:00 pm)
• 15 € per hour and child (6:00 mm – 9:00 pm)
• 20 € per hour and child (after 9:00 pm)

CAPS Funds for Child Care Financial Support

SIGSOFT provides funds for a limited number of grants that support child care for both student and professional members that would like to participate in a SIGSOFT-sponsored event but are unable to do so without this support. The application deadline for the CAPS program has passed a while ago; however we still may be able to accommodate a limited number of requests.
